I see so many versions of my name, like Prosperine, Prosephine, Proserbine, Prosperpine. :( Are people not able to write one easy name? I found this name in the Satanic Bible of LaVey and I liked it a lot immediately. Proserpine is the greek goddess of the underworld in greek mythology, but you can also find Proserpine in art and culture. For example Dante Gabriel Rossetti made a very great drawing of Proserpine...see the pic on the right. Proserpine is also a name of a city in Australia. Other names for Proserpine are Proserpina or Persephone. I have chosen the latin way to write it (Proserpine) cause i think that looks best. Hopefully people in the net will remember that! :) << back
