The band founded in 1995 under the name "Gothic Domain". After many line-up changes and concerts they recorded their first MCD called "The Human Spirit Massacre" in late 2000. After this they picked another name and Usipian was born. In late 2001 they released "The Human Spirit Massacre" and got very good reviews worldwide. In 2003 they recorded the two-track "Promo 2003". Their first full-length album is still to come.
Proserpine´s comment: This band was recommended to me while chatting and I immediately liked the fresh and interesting music of this danish group. They play a strong mixture of death and black metal with a slight thrash metal influence and I am really impressed by the great riffs and the kick-ass songwriting. I strongly advice you to check out Usipian. It's definately one of the best bands in the danish underground!
