Path Of Golconda actually started as a Black Metal band but nowadays it is more a Death Metal band, while the blackish influences reduced very much. They started in 1999 and up to now they released several demos and albums, such as: "Destroy The Mistery (a live-split from 2000), "Astigian - First Steps Into Oblivion" (re-released 2003), "Demonheart - An Anathema To This World" (2002) and the current release is called "Destination: Downfall", which came out in 2004.
Proserpine´s comment: The first time I recognized Path Of Golconda was on this nifty MP3-Sampler called Joining Forces II. On this sampler are 50 bands, but Path Of Golconda immediately got my full attention. Reason for this is of course the very strong music and the great and powerful production. As I mentioned above Path Of Golconda play more Death Metal but there are also influences of Black and a little Thrash Metal, so it is a very interesting mixture. Check out their songs...
