Unfortunately I have absolutely no information how this band was founded etc., but they released 2 Demo-CDs so far: "Of Malice" in 2002 and "Thorns Scar Her Soul" one year later.
Proserpine´s comment: I surfed around in the net and somehow found the website of this band. I just downloaded the samples and noticed that Hyperborean created a very good piece of music. It is a kind of melodic Black Metal with Death Metal influences and they added a very nice female voice, which sounds not too high and soft, but very melodic and energetic. Apart from that they also have some nice keyboard-melodies... so if you like melodic metal with great male and female vocals then you should check out this young swedish band.
