Flauros started in 1996 and shortly afterwards in 1997 they entered the studio to record their first demo called "The Myth..." which was released the same year. After the replacement of the guitarplayer 2 new people joined the band and in 1998 they released their second demo "Chapter II". After a split-MC with Devilry and some other EPs ("Suicide" in 2000) they released their first MC with the name "Monuments Of Total Holocaust". It contained 5 songs with ca. 20 minutes playtime. Their last output was the EP "Third Curse" in 2001.
Proserpine´s comment: A finnish friend recommended that band to me and after I listened to some samples I was sure that this is a band for my monthly recommendations. They play really hateful Black Metal, but also include some nifty melodies. I think you can clearly hear the finnish influences and that not only because a member of the finnish band Arrival is also playing in Flauros. In the internet I unfortunately just found some shitty samples, but I can recommend to get your hands on their CDs.
