The first steps were taken back in 1996 as a four-man-band. The genre was more doom/death metal and they had a different bandname. Almost three years later (after Vargon joined and they evolved in more black metal ways) they entered the studio to record their first demo called "Carpe Noctem" and although it wasn´t spread in so many copies they received a few good reviews in the underground scene. 2000 was a rather good year for the band, since they recorded their second demo "Spirits" in the Abyss Studio in Sweden and they also had their first gig together with Ancient. After that it was just a question of time until the first labels would knock on the door - in 2001 they signed with Arctic Music Group. With this improvement they entered the Abyss Studio again and with Tommy Tägtren they recorded the first full-length album "Mirrored Revelation". The mastering took place in march 2002 and the release party for that album was in september the same year.

Proserpine´s comment: This time I didn´t find the band while surfing in the internet. I received that CD "Mirrored Revelation" a short time before and since I knew the previous stuff of them I decided to take them as the BOTM this time. Well you can hear that they are from Norway, cause they have these typical Black Metal influences, but on the other hand they also included some very own melodies and parts. The Drums are damn straight and tight, as well as the guitars. The nice-looking website contains some MP3s for your own pleasure...
Edit: I also made an interview with them. Check here for the german translation at metal.de.
