This young band founded in 2001 in Geneva and the first MCD called "Necrosapiens" was recorded and released one year later in august. This is the current output, but the new one "Hephaistos" is in the making and will be available soon.
Proserpine´s comment: I found this band due to the Metal Ostentation Sampler No. 5, which offerend 20 bands with one song each. It´s a great possibility of getting to know very nice but totally unknown combos. I never heard of Amok before but I liked their music very much. On one hand it is kinda progressive and melodic but on the other hand which is the main part the music is rather brutal. Although they are pretty fast they always mix nice melodies to their songs. You can say they play Death Metal with a very slightly progressive touch. That´s a nice combination so feel free to visit their good-looking website.
